What is the cost of a catered hot buffet?
A.
For two meats, three sides, salad, rolls/butter plus coffee/tea, buffets start
around $14 per person.
Q.
If Michael's does my catering, do I need to purchase my wedding cake
through your
bakery?
A.
No, not at all, but our signature pastries are available to complement your
cake. If Michael's does not furnish the cake, a small cake cutting fee
may apply.

What styles of catering does Michael's provide?
A.
We serve all styles...buffet, sit-down, family style, food stations or delivery/set
up.
Q.
Is Michael's able to do more than one event on a given date?
A.
Yes, we have a staff of approximately 60 full-time and part-time personnel
so we
can do several events on a given day. Due to our made-from-scratch philosophy,
we watch our events calendar very closely. Michael's Gourmet
Catering,
Inc. will NEVER schedule more events than we can comfortably handle.

Where do you cater?
A.
We are the proud exclusive caterer for St.
Michael's Centre and we also cater at
many beautiful facilities in the Toledo and surrounding area. Stranahan
Great
Hall, Franciscan Center, Gesu/Sullivan Center, The Valentine Theatre, St. George's, The Grecian Center, Snook's Museum,
Mansion View, The Ward
Pavilion and other Metro Park facilities, St.Clement's,
Oakshade Grove, Monclova Community Center, Olander Park, Camp Perry
Clubhouse, Laurel
Hills and the Toledo/Lucas County Main Library are just a
few of
the locations we are proud to serve in this region. Of course, we also
serve at
many hotels, VFW, Union and
K of C Halls as well. If you have a location

How may I obtain your special
catering menus?
A.

Q.
Do you do "tasting's?"
A.
Yes, for major catering events, we hold Trial Dinners twice per year,
usually in the
Winter and Summer months. Please contact our Catering
Manager or the Café to
find out how you qualify to participate.
Q.
How do I reserve a space on your catering events calendar?
A.
$500 secures Michael's Gourmet Catering, Inc. for our services. Remember,
all deposits
are non-refundable.
Q.
If waitstaff is not needed for my event and food is delivered, do
I need to return
the dishes?
A.
For deliveries, every food storage item is disposable; there's no need
to return anything!
St. Michael's Centre FAQ's
Q. What is the rental cost for St. Michael's Centre?
A.
The charge is $695 for Saturdays; the remainder
of the week is $450.
Q. At St. Michael's Centre, how much rental time do I get for my money?
A.
Five and a half hours (5.5 hrs.) is a normal rental allotment. Additional
time is permitted
for event preparation and closure. If needed, additional half hours are
available for a nominal fee.
Q. May
I rent St. Michael's Centre without catering?
A.
Sorry, that option is not available.
Q. How
can I schedule a personal tour of St. Michael's Centre?
A.
Just contact our Catering Manager or
phone 419.698.2988 to schedule your
personal
tour.
Q. How do I reserve St. Michael's Centre for my special event?
A.
Contact our Catering Manager to
reserve the date. The full rental price is required
to secure the date along with a signed rental agreement.
Q. What is the hall capacity?
A.
St. Michael's Centre seats up to 400 guests.
Q. Do you have round tables?
A. Yes!
Q. May
I bring my own alcohol?
A.
Yes! You can save a bundle of money! Bartenders and Bar Set-ups are furnished
by the hall at a very reasonable cost. For a Suggested Liquor List or for
any other questions, contact our Catering
Manager or call 419.698.2988. We'll
forward your information immediately.

Where can my out-of-town guests stay?
A. Several fine inns and hotels are located just minutes from this facility.
Café &
Bakery FAQ's
Q.
What are your Café & Bakery hours?
A.
The Café & Bakery is open Monday-Friday 6:30am till 5:30pm;
Saturdays 8:00am till 3:00pm. We are closed on Sundays.
Q. Do you accept major credit/debit cards?
A.
Yes, we accept all major credit/debit cards. Of course, cash and checks
(with proper
ID) are appreciated too!
Q. Do you do wedding cakes?
A.
Yes, but only if we cater the event. Should you decide to purchase your
cake elsewhere,
our signature pastries are available to complement your wedding cake.
Q. Does Michael's Café & Bakery decorate
cakes for special occasions?
A.
Yes! Please allow 48 hours for us to give your special dessert the attention
it deserves.
We accept all major credit/debit cards, cash and checks with proper ID.
